“Artist, musician, numbers guy and adventurer; Pete LaMoia (the artist’s father) created the original version of this piece in 1976. He was 25 years old at the time, and was working as a full-time orchid grower by day and a drumming in a disco/funk band by night. He was living in Miami but regularly took road trips in his tan & white VW van up to Tallahassee, where this piece was originally created.”
